Why painting can help grow the mind and creativity!

There are lots of ways you can paint to help grow and expand the creative side of your mind. Painting is one of the ways you can create art to express emotions and feelings. It is a relaxing way to take time and just focus on creating an amazing art piece with your own style. Painting can make you focus on a single thing rather than the world. It has been shown even in therapy that painting helps the mind think better. It's an amazing way to create what's on your mind using your own emotions.
When you are painting try to paint from memory. Paint an event that has happened to you or maybe one that you thought of.  Artists all over the world have their own style and uniqueness to each painting. Think of an event that has happened for recently and the feeling you had for it. If that event was happy then you should paint in bright colors such as orange, yellow, red, and white. If you had something sad happen recently paint in cooler colors like blue, purple, and black. Try to make the image pop out of your painting of what you are trying to portray. With emotions of sadness make the background feel gloomy and sad. With happiness try to make it look bright and sunny out to really capture that happy feeling. Even if you are someone who has never painted before, you can show that emotion. What lots of artists like to do is take the time to sketch out and know what they want to paint before they do it. You can draw on a piece of paper anything you are thinking about to give you a better idea of what you want to make. It helps you get more creative with your art and makes you become attached to it. Behind every art piece has a purpose.

Painting can help improve your self-esteem. Making an art piece that you are genuinely happy about can bring more feeling and emotion into your life and someone else's. It can make you a happier person because it lets out those emotions and makes them into art. Sadness and anger don't have to be a negative, but rather a positive. It can make you feel more confident and motivated to keep working on yourself. When you are finished with that painting you will look back to when you first started and why you made it. You can share it with others who also enjoy making paintings. Art has been around for a very long time and has changed throughout the years. There is no wrong in art especially something that is meaningful to you. It doesn't have to just be painting on a canvas either. You can use a journal to sketch and draw in. Use a piece of paper to sketch and draw different things that are on your mind. The more and more you draw, the more you mind will become creative.
Art can be anything you want it to be. Painting isn't the only form of art or creativity either. There are lots of different art styles you can do like pottery, sculptures, and digital. These are all different forms of art and bringing out creativity. With sculptures you can capture 3D images of what you envision along with hands on activity. It all depends on what you like to make and how you want to make it. Pottery takes time and patience before you get it right. Lots of people struggle to keep a vase together or get frustrated when it falls apart. When they complete it however, it makes them feel good and satisfied with themselves. Digital are as well can be something you like. You can create art on your computer or tablet without having to use other tools. All you need is a mouse or a finger. Digital allows you to easily fix mistakes that you make and have them become easily repaired. It doesn't matter which style you use as long as you do it because you love it.

There are lots of ways that painting and art can help the mind, and grow creativity. The next time you are writing or making notes in school just draw a little sketch and see what happens. It might spark an idea and make you think of something amazing. You don't have to be really good at it at first because it will take time. You have to learn your style of what you like to make and share with others. Any art that you give effort into is good art.
